Ethic and moral

Ethics and morals are the principles and ideas of  whats right or wrong. Many factors may affect the ethics and morals to a person, such as: religion, special interests and ethical tradition.

On the internet, however, have the words ethic and moral become something many people tries to avoid. There are rules and laws to be followed when you’re online, just like in the real world. Copyright is one of the main factors within “online ethic and moral”.

Throughout the years, many people have found their ways to get around these laws. Napster is a great example of that. Shawn Fanning is the founder of the program Napster, which made it able to share and download files online. The heavy metal band Metallica heard about Napster and discovered that one of their songs(I disappear) had been shared with thousands of people around the globe – even before it had been released! The outcome of this was a struggle between Metallica and the hacker, Shawn Fanning. Loads of Metallica fans threw away their Metallica albums when they heard that Metallica sued the filesharing program, Napster. Metallica drew the longest straw and won in the court.

I think Metallica did the right action. It wasn’t just about Metallica’s music, but moreover every band on the earth. They fought for every band with the copyright law by their side. Something is got to change to stop the filesharing programs. Even though I don’t want to pay for music and other media, I do feel the artists and bands problems these days. It’s very hard to make money out of music when people downloads your work instead of buying it. The result of this filesharing popularity, ends in a breakup of a band. And then again, people can’t understand why their favourite band broke up! Kind of silly in my opinion. The prices for music, dvd and other media needs a huge change. If the prices were lower, and the rules had been followed up, I think it would been the best for both the people and for the artists/bands. Sometimes we do need to meet on the half-way…

Computers should never existed…

From the day “normal” people got the computer into their lifes, the world has been through an enormous change. Almost everything we do, everything we say and every action we make is getting recorded and stored somewhere. The computer has become a-must-have item for every mankind in the civilizated world. We are no longer safe on the internet. One mistake may end up in a disaster where your online  bank account is getting robbed by a no-life geek the next door. You can pretty much control almost everything by being a hacker. Terrible thought.

I think the world would have been much better without this computer “thingy”, but thats just my opinion in a nutshell…

Hair in the arse?

•01.FebruaryUTCb.2007 • 1 Comment

Hokaii, I was taking a shower this morning, and a weird thought popped into my mind. “Why do boys got hair in the arse?” Any suggestions? Alright, I guess it’s from day 1, when people freezed their nuts off, so we needed some extra protection at our backs. Anyway, why do we need that hair nowadays? It is only an itching obstruction for the evacuation, trying its best to be squeezed out of the hairy “black-eye”. It’s a matter of fact that we DON’T NEED HAIR IN OUR  ARSE ANYMORE! So please, oh sacred ass-hair, get away from us! I don’t have anymore suggestions(don’t mention to shave, thats way too heavy!) to come up with than praying for the hair to leave its “home”.

I just had to get that out of my brain, phew, it felt good..!

Hello!

It´s been some problems with my blog the last few days due some password issues or something. Anyway, here I am, nice and fresh.

Hello, and welcome to my blog site!

If you ask me why I started with blogging, the answer will be something like:”I was forced to!” The cruel teachers(oh well, they aren´t really cruel, although the word sounds cool, so..) on my school gave me some sort of an order to start up a blog, and write something about myself and my interesests.

I´ve never really thought about starting up my own blog. The word blog is weird, and I don´t really understand why people have to write about themselves all the time. I mean, to read the same sentences over and over and over again is pretty boring in my opinion. “This is me! Read the “about me” link! Woho I´m a tard oh yeah!” Oh well, maybe I should stop being that negative about all this blog system. Anyway, I´ve done some searching on other blogs. Some of the people out there actually got alot of interesting thoughts and ideas on their heart. Like a dude who was bullet proof that he was sent by God himself to write blogs.

Anyway, I´m 16 years old. I live in the cold country in the far north, Norway. And yeah, I have dreams. One day I WILL be a proffesional drummer – in a metal band of course! I don´t really have any idols. Maybe Joey Jordison from Slipknot. However, my favourite band is Metallica and In Flames! Although, I do also love bands like Slayer, Children of Bodom, Lacuna Coil, Pantera etc..

Movies.. Hmm.. I don´t really watch so many movies, but the Rocky movies gotta be my favourites. The boxing legend who crushed his opponents. Rocky Balboa, played by Sylvester Stallone, has really given me alot of get-up-on-your-feets-and-never-give-up-boost.

That was a sneak peak on my life. See ya later!
